A Lifetime?
“Oh, remember that my life [is] a breath!” -Job 7:7a.
What a consideration. That life is but a breath should cause us to ponder the unending depths of eternity. To contrast what we think to be nearly 100 years (a time frame that takes a lifetime, literally) with something that lasts a split second creates in me a sense of awe that, really, every soul will live forever. With the recent passing of a high-school friend, I am humbled and sobered to consider the fact that life IS so short. I am challenged to view this life and remember it for what it truly is: an opportunity to serve my King and Lord. Oh Lord, cause in me a sense of urgency to seek and serve You daily in this short time I have here on earth.
“And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.” -1 John 4:16

Well, here I am with my own blog. You have to know that I have debated whether or not to start one of these for about a year, now. With encouragement from some great friends (and boredom in class), I have decided to join the blogging club. Although I don’t know what my journey on this will entail, I am excited to have the opportunity to place on this site the writings, music, Scriptures, and anything else that ministers to me to share them with you.
So blessed to be a part of the Campus Crusade ministry. What a humbling opportunity to serve my Lord alongside this talented and incredible group of people. Photo cred: Bryant Hom.
